Caitlin Clark is set to return to the court for the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup Qualifiers, which got fans ecstatic recently, but Clark knows she'll face initial adversity after returning.
On March 7, the Fever No. 22 disclosed the issue that she thought she would face after her return. With her first game in nearly eight months now approaching fast, Clark admitted there may be a brief adjustment.
She said, "It’ll probably take me a second to knock a little bit of the rust off. I’ll probably be a little bit nervous, which I usually don’t get nervous, but that probably comes from... I haven’t really played basketball in a while."

However, CC22 also expressed confidence about regaining her touch soon, stating, "I’m sure after the first minute of running around on the court, I’ll be just fine. But more than anything, just really excited. I know how much work and how much time I put in to make sure my body’s as healthy as it can be and to get back."
For the record, Clark's numbers dipped in 2025 compared to her electric 2024 rookie year. However, most of it was because of the injuries that cut her WNBA season short to just 13 games.
But now that Clark has stated that she is fully fit to play, fans placed their trust in her once more.
What Did Fans Have to Say About Caitlin Clark’s Update?
On March 7, an X update from correlation displayed a snap of her while she was arriving at the Team USA camp to start preparing for the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup Qualifiers.

Some fans simply noticed how happy she looked. “She looks so happy,” one user pointed out, and for Clark, that feeling makes sense, as she expressed that she was "excited" to return to the court.
But after such a prolonged hiatus, how long do you think Clark will take to regain her blazing form?
