Who Is Unavailable for the Fever Against New York per Latest Injury Report?

With an injury-ridden 2025 season, the Indiana Fever would certainly like to avoid any such instances going into May. However, the injury threats have already begun to surface.

Before the regular season, the Fever is set to take on the New York Liberty in the preseason opener on April 25. But their first game on the road will be played out without 4 names, announced the team on X.

“Status Report for tomorrow's game at New York,” Fever’s official post read. “Aliyah Boston - Out (lower leg), Damiris Dantas – NWT, Ty Harris - Out (knee), Lexie Hull – Out (hamstring).”

While Boston, Harris, and Hull have been ruled out due to injuries, Dantas is not with the team due to an ongoing visa issue. But per the Indianapolis Star’s latest report, all three players are on the mend.

Back in 2025, the Fever was a largely injured team with most key players sidelined, including star PG Caitlin Clark. Moreover, Boston had to withdraw from the FIBA qualifiers in Puerto Rico due to a right lower extremity injury.

However, the head coach, Stephanie White, highlighted a different angle, with Lexie Hull’s comments adding some reassurance.

Stephanie White and Lexie Hull Elaborated on Fever’s Approach

Firstly, the injuries are all minor, and a league source has confirmed that the players will play once the regular season tips off. Moreover, Coach White underscored the positive sides.

“Fever coach Stephanie White said… they would wait until after practice to determine player availability,” wrote Indianapolis Star’s Brian Haenchen and Chloe Peterson. “They wanted to give their new players and their young players an opportunity to log minutes.”

Moreover, Hull added that the transition would be "pretty seamless", stating that "everyone (was) playing well with everybody.” She also mentioned that the chemistry between players is only “going to keep growing.”

The injuries provide a chance for the roster to improve its coordination, and may be an opportunity for newer players to see some court time. Do you agree? Comment down below!
