Moving past the injury scares, Aliyah Boston has begun to take charge on the paint as the Indiana Fever dived deeper into the regular season. But here’s all the avid fans would like to know about her personal life involving Tre-Vaughn Minott.
Reportedly, Boston started dating the Portland State Vikings star back in 2020, after Minott bumped into her on USC’s campus. And surprisingly, it all began with him telling Boston a joke that she ended up laughing at.
“It wasn’t a grand gesture or anything planned. We literally just bumped into each other in a hallway,” Minott revealed in 2025. “It was, ‘Hey, let me tell you a joke.’ And that’s it, just from there. We laugh about it every day. Every single day. It was just like an instant spark.”

Before being linked to Boston, the Canadian was already making a name for himself as a basketball player and much more. Growing up in Montreal, Minott’s first priority had been music rather than basketball.
In fact, he “was so into music, (that) they had to hunt (him) to get (him) to basketball practice.” But soon after, Minott wanted to see “what this basketball thing is about.” And that marked the beginning of his life as a musician-athlete.
Fluent in English, French, Spanish, and Portuguese, he believes that “You can be a musician, you can be an athlete, you can be all of it.” And maybe this is the type of MVP energy that had Boston hooked.
Aliyah Boston and Tre-Vaughn Minott’s Current Relationship Status
Just in March, the Fever star effectively riled up speculation about her dating life. It was when Boston’s former Fever teammate, Sydney Colson, joked about her dating a tree she clicked photos with.
The Fever star mischievously replied, “SYD PLEASE cause yk I ain’t dating nobody.” However, the reports suggest that they are still together. In fact, the couple also shares a joint TikTok account 2tallhumans4.
