“Wear a Crown”: Fans Go Wild as Mikaela Shiffrin Stuns in Latest Post

One thing about Mikaela Shiffrin is that she hardly misses, be it gliding down tough slopes, fighting back, or making her fans go wild over stunning posts.

America’s most decorated Alpine Skier of all time, Shiffrin, has stepped into New York City after seizing yet another feat on the ice. But this time, she’s taking the internet by storm with something other than her usual “on-ice” moves.

One of her latest X posts is a photo of herself; Shiffrin’s caption read, “shades of blue. NYC.” And rightfully so, there could’ve been nothing better to capture the NYC vibe than her all-blue outfit.

This time around, she was decorated not in medals or skiing gear, but in a beautiful blue satin shirt and blue denim. Adding to that magnetism was a blue fleece coat. But seeing the photo wasn’t enough; fans took the rest in the comments.

Fans Flooded the Comments

Just some days ago, Shiffrin returned from Norway after capturing her sixth career Crystal Globe at the World Cup Finals in Lillehammer. She hit the all-time record for most women’s overall ski titles since 1979. And seeing her long list of achievements, fans felt something was missing in the photo.

“I miss something. You have to wear a Crown”, the fan wrote. Another commentator voiced out the same, writing, “It would look even better wearing a crown!!!! Please.”

Some fans added that blue is the colour that no one can ever get wrong. While some highlighted what other colours bring the best out of Shiffrin. But all of them agreed on just how majestic she looked in the photo, capturing the NYC vibes at its peak.

“That and Gold look very natural on you!!”, wrote a fan. One added, “Blue NEVER looked so (right thumb emoji).” Someone else also mentioned, “You can never go wrong with blue.” “NYC vibes in every shade of blue. City mood on point”, said another.

However, one comment takes the spotlight, as a direct nod from a fan who genuinely holds an athlete’s drive with high regard. That comment said, “Mikaela, enjoy your off- season time. Too soon, I know, but I look forward to you on the (ice emoji).”

For someone who has spent a significant part of their life competing on the white slopes, blue goes unnaturally well with Shiffrin’s charm. And whoever disagrees needs to sit down and chat with any of Shiffrin’s fans.
