Watch: Paige Bueckers and Azzi Fudd Share Fan Moment Following Win vs Fever

While the Indiana Fever fell to the Dallas Wings on Thursday to move to 1–1 in preseason after beating the New York Liberty, Paige Bueckers and Azzi Fudd paired a dominant scoring night with a wholesome courtside gesture that left one supporter stunned.

Just hours after the win, @AzziReport took to X to share a video of Azzi Fudd and teammate Paige Bueckers signing autographs and chatting with fans courtside following the Dallas victory.

In the clip, an excited fan got her white T-shirt signed by Paige Bueckers, but the moment quickly turned unforgettable.

Pointing at Bueckers, the fan said, "Bro, you're literally the GOAT," and that’s when Bueckers took off one of her shoes, signed it, and handed it to her.

The excitement only grew as the fan shared that she and her girlfriend had traveled from out of state just to watch Azzi Fudd and Bueckers play at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.

The fan interactions continued after the autograph session.

In another clip, Paige Bueckers was seen holding a toddler, posing with Azzi Fudd, and sweetly asking the child to look at her mom for a photo before signing the toddler’s blue jersey.

Such fan interactions made the win even more special, as the Dallas Wings followed it up with a 95–80 preseason win over the Indiana Fever, making Bueckers' night a unique highlight.

Paige Bueckers Shines in Dallas Wings’ Big Win

The one weakness in Paige Bueckers’ game was her three-point shooting, but in the Dallas Wings' preseason opener against the Indiana Fever, she looked much improved, going 4-for-5 from deep in the first half.

Dallas took control of the game with a dominant second quarter at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, outscoring Indiana 36–12 on the way to a 95–80 win.

Bueckers was on fire in that second quarter, going 5-for-5 from the field and hitting both threes during a 14–2 run, finishing with 20 points on 8-of-12 shooting in the first half.

“I thought in a lot of things she made really really good decisions with her hands on the ball and also off the ball,” head coach Jose Fernandez said, in praise of the 2025 first overall pick.

Meanwhile, Azzi Fudd started strong by knocking down a pull-up jumper early to give Dallas a 5–1 lead. However, she missed her next few shots and played just over eight minutes in the first half.

The Dallas Wings are set to start their regular season against the Indiana Fever on May 9, before their home opener against the Atlanta Dream on May 13 at the College Park Center in Arlington, Texas.

After her performance against the Fever, do you think Paige Bueckers has erased three-point shooting concerns? Let us know in the comments.
