Watch: Paige Bueckers and Angel Reese Break the Internet After Team USA 5-0 Sweep

Three things Team USA returned with from Puerto Rico: dominant wins, a Berlin ticket and lots of hilarious Paigel moments. And the fans are here for it.
The American team went straight for a 5-0 unbeaten streak in their FIBA qualifiers. With a star-studded roster like that, no one’s really shocked. But Kahleah Copper’s latest Instagram post highlighted a different angle.
On March 19, Copper posted a bunch of photos and videos from her time in San Juan, captioning, “from San Juan with love, 7.”. Most of them were her photos with the team on and off court, but there was this Angel Reese and Paige Bueckers’ dancing video that broke the internet.
This WNBA duo has a whole fanbase calling them ‘Paigel’. On several occasions, these two have had major “dumb and dumber” moments, and this dancing video was one of those. The Paigel fans just had to flood the comments.
Fans Went Wild Over the Paigel Content
Initially, Bueckers and Reese have been competing since their high school time, when they were ranked as the No. 1 and No. 2 players in the 2020 recruiting class. But it soon turned into a deep off-court friendship, and fans highlighted that hilarious bond over comments.
“Not PaiGel making a cameo”, one user commented. While someone wrote, “WHATTT THEE, PAIGEY AND ANGEL IS SO”. The emojis really intensified the comment.
While another fan jokingly pointed out how unserious and goofy Reese and Bueckers are. As two of the youngest players on the roster, both the Dallas Wing and the Chicago Sky stars put up great games on the court. But off the paint, they’re just as silly as ever.
“Something is seriously wrong with Paigel. Lolol love my nieces for real!!”, the user wrote, adding the laughing and heart emojis. Someone tagged Reese and Bueckers and pointed out how hilarious that dance looked, adding, “W** KINDA DANCE WAS THAT LOL.”
While Reese and Bueckers both commented under Copper’s post, fans kept highlighting the dance. And those countless comments and laughing emojis spoke volumes about the unserious but wholesome bond between the two.
