Unrivaled Achieves Rare Feat Surpassing NBA in One Metric

Feb 1, 2026, 5:09 PM CUT

The City of Brotherly Love watched a massive crowd lining up at Xfinity. But this time, it was not for the Philadelphia 76ers.

For the first time, the 3v3 league left their home arena in Miami. They took the show to Philadelphia, and a crowd of 21,490 people came to watch.

The league set a new all-time attendance mark for any professional women's basketball regular-season game. But it was not just the league.

The Xfinity Mobile arena also recorded the highest attendance. And despite being the 76ers’ home arena, people paid more to watch the women play.

Legion Hoops pointed out on X that “the average demand for Unrivaled ($165) is nearly double the price to watch a 76ers game ($85) in the same arena.”

Xfinity has never quite seen the crowd for any other games before. And no seats had gone out at that price either. Co-host Napheesa Collier described this moment as a “testament”.

“It’s just a testament to what we’re building here, how much people believe in it”, she said, “So, to have the city show out like this, to break a record in all of women’s professional basketball here tonight, and for it to be Unrivaled, I think it’s just amazing. The future’s Unrivaled.”

Despite their short history, the league managed to break records and make history by surpassing not one but two professional leagues. Unrivaled held two games that day, and the performances lived upto the hype.

21,490 People Enjoyed 2 Unrivaled Games in the Sold-Out Stadium

The first game was between Phantom BC and Breeze. Though Breeze went back to Miami with a 71-68 loss, Paige Bueckers was hot on the paint. She scored 23 points and 2 rebounds. However, Phantom’s Kelsey Plum was the game winner as she led Phantom to victory with 22 points and 4 rebounds.

As for the second game, the Lunar Owls finally won their second game of the season. Mabrey led the Owls to an 85-75 victory over Rose. She racked up 47 scores, a new game-high record. Rose’s Sharika Austin put up a nice show with 31 points and 11 rebounds.

The crowd included iconic names like Jalyx Hunt, Dawn Staley, Jason Kelce, Kylie Kelce, Kyle Lowry, and Sabrina Ionescu, etc., who watched the league setting so many new records in one day. Rose coach Nola Henry summed up the event perfectly, "It was just what women's basketball deserves."

Unrivaled showed their game, and this not only works for the league’s favour but also boosts women’s basketball in general.

Where do you think Unrivaled should play next?
