On March 28, an account named Interesting Things shared a clip of the performance and captioned it, "She literally lift her with one leg," which quickly got fans and critics talking online.
For those who missed it, Mo Arthur opened in Compulsory Acro and delivered a 9.65/10 as a base. She followed that with a 9.85/10 in Compulsory Pyramid as a mid-level, and added a 9.90/10 in Compulsory Toss, again contributing as a base.
She later returned as a base in the 7-Element Acro heat, posting a 9.80/10, an appearance that would define the night.
It was in that heat that Mo Arthur unveiled a skill the sport hasn’t seen before, immediately setting her routine apart.
The sequence begins with Arthur in a needle position on one leg while the "top" holds a straddle. From there, she transitions smoothly into a two-hand handstand, lifting her foot off the ground while maintaining control of the flyer, who remains balanced on her other foot.
In the second phase, the routine escalates into a two-hand stacked handstand before Arthur shifts to one arm, prompting Baylor to submit the skill for evaluation, where it received a high difficulty rating and a raw score of 11.
