Tommy Fleetwood’s Funny Vow to Son Gets Surprising Response From Caitlin Clark
The clock’s ticking, and the WNBA season is knocking at the door. But amidst these, Caitlin Clark has her eyes set on something else.
In less than a month, Clark will hit the hardwood wearing the Indiana Fever’s 22. But before that, she needed to tap into the Golf world, keeping an eye on whether Tommy Fleetwood is delivering his promise or not.
“Do we think Frankie Fleetwood reaches the green this year?” the Fever 22 wrote this Tuesday. This directly addressed the English Golfer’s vow, who said, “The pressure is on me to keep making the Masters until he reaches the green on the 9th," about his son.
The 2026 Masters Tournament marked Tommy's 10th since 2017. But this year, his main pressure was to push his 9-year-old son, Frankie, so that he could reach the green. And the youngster had been set on this since 2024.
The 8-year-old Fleetwood attempted to reach the green back then, but his ball splashed in the water. “I'm just trying my hardest”, said Frankie. And this year, along with the sports media, CC also has her eyes on the little golfer.
Whether little Fleetwood manages to pull off his father’s stunt or not, Clark will surely follow up. But that is not the only thing she’ll be doing, probably.
Caitlin Clark’s Career as a Cookie Tester
Clark’s latest social activities suggest that the 24-year-old has been dwelling in some Chicago stuff from Indianapolis. The Fever star is already quite famous for taking up different gigs, but this time, she might kickstart a cookie tester stint.
The Chicago Cubs urged bakers to send in chocolate chip cookie recipes by a post on April 6, announcing that the best one will get served in their home field this season. And Clark didn’t waste time writing, “Would love to be the taste tester.”
And yet another example of the Clark effect; the Cubs replied, “ABSOLUTELY.” So, a lethal basketball player, NBC broadcaster, golfer, soccer player, photographer, and now, another option that might get ticked in her resume.
