With the 2026 WNBA season tipping off on May 8, USA Sports is adding another star to its coverage lineup alongside Elle Duncan, Tamika Catchings, Chamique Holdsclaw, and Sophie Cunningham.
Sharing the update was none other than Senior reporter Meghan L. Hall, who revealed it through an X update on April 18. Hall disclosed that the network had brought in Terrika Foster-Brasby, a seasoned sideline reporter and longtime grassroots voice in the WNBA, to join its 2026 broadcast team.
The update read, "BREAKING: Terrika Foster-Brasby is joining USA Sports for its 2026 WNBA coverage," she wrote.
In case you missed it, Foster-Brasby will add her new role with USA Sports to an already busy schedule that includes working with CBS Sports and NBC Sports, while also covering the Connecticut Sun as a sideline reporter.
She will start in June. And when asked why she chose USA Today, Terrika Foster-Brasby said the network’s strong investment in the WNBA and its people stood out to her.
"People that really wanna elevate the sport, people that really wanna learn and know ... I think that was important to me. To be with a group of people who understand, some of [where we're] trying to go in the W, in terms of coverage." explained the 42-year-old veteran reporter.
Backing her addition, USA Sports executive producer Jeff Behnke remarked, "Terrika Foster-Brasby is a trusted and respected voice in women's basketball, and we're thrilled to have her be a part of USA Sports' inaugural season of WNBA coverage on USA Network."
But USA Sports isn’t the only network making such moves ahead of the 2026 season.
WNBA 2026 Coverage Heats Up With NBC’s Return and Star Analyst Lineup
While Terrika Foster-Brasby is set to lead USA Today’s WNBA 2026 coverage, NBC is also returning to the league for the first time since 2002, with LaChina Robinson and Sarah Grace Kustok expected to serve as analysts across NBC and Peacock, according to Front Office Sports.
Robinson is expected to rotate between studio analyst and color commentator roles, while the 44-year-old veteran, Kustok will primarily work as a color commentator, sources said.
If you’re not familiar, LaChina Robinson brings over 15 years of WNBA coverage experience, mainly with ESPN, and previously worked as an Olympic basketball analyst for NBC. .
Kustok, on the other hand, brings strong broadcast experience, working as an analyst for the Brooklyn Nets on YES Network since 2012 and as a sideline reporter for Fox Sports NFL since 2018.
That said, can Terrika Foster-Brasby bring a fresh storytelling edge to WNBA coverage this season? Let us know what you think.
