Steph Curry Adds a Touch of Angel Reese in His Courtside Presence

Angel Reese somehow manages to dominate the hardwood even when she's nowhere near it. This time, she's made the shift to the NBA with one of the biggest names.
Stephen Curry was sitting on the sidelines as the Golden State Warriors took on Oklahoma City on Friday night. Injured, the guard was wearing the Reebok Angel Reese 1 in the ‘Receipts Ready’ colorway.
The image blew up on social media as Sole Retriever posted it on Instagram with the caption "Even though he's out for tonight's game against OKC, he's still using his sneaker free agency to show love to signature athletes in the game. Tonight, he's wearing Angel Reese's @Reebok signature shoe.”
The timing made it impossible to ignore, as Stephen Curry recently parted ways with Under Armour in November. The long-term partnership allowed Curry to open a standalone 'Curry Brand' in 2020. After the mutual parting, he has not announced a new deal with any footwear company.
Fans speculate his choice of wearing the 'Receipts Ready' as a hint at a potential collaboration or just a gesture of his support for the Chicago Sky star's influence.

In September, Reese launched her first signature sneaker with Reebok, unveiling it on the cover of the WNBA edition of NBA 2K26.
Since then, her shoes have found fans in many NBA players, including her rumored boyfriend, Wendell Carter Jr., and, more recently, Stephen Curry.
Reese had a NIL deal with Reebok since her LSU days, which then extended to a long-term relationship with the brand. This now makes her the only active signature athlete for the company, with Sports Illustrated deeming her 'the face of Reebok Basketball.'
Since the release of her first AR1 sneaker, Reebok and Reese have released other colorways, including King Tiago, Diamond Dust, Mebounds, and Receipts Ready. And as the official Reebok website rightfully describes the line, “the perfect combination of undeniable style and elite-level performance.”
Whether it’s WNBA dominance, NBA visibility, or getting on sneaker culture, Angel Reese is building something bigger. And with Steph Curry stepping into her signature shoe, her influence just crossed all hurdles throughout the Basketball community. Don't you agree?
