Sophie Cunningham Poses Hilarious Demand After Caitlin Clark-Lexie Hull Reunion Video

Sophie Cunningham had a hilarious response to Caitlin Clark. After Clark and Lexie Hull posted a reunion video, Cunningham had just one demand for her Indiana Fever teammates.

Caitlin Clark is hoping that Sophie Cunningham returns to the Indiana Fever for the 2026 season, just like Lexie Hull. A fan page called Correlation shared a screenshot of their interaction on X and captioned it, "Sophie re-signing announcement is next."

On Saturday, Hull went on TikTok with Clark to announce she’s coming back to the team after agreeing to a new WNBA free agency deal. In the comments of Hull’s post, Clark tagged Cunningham and wrote, "@S O P H I E, hey, what’s up wyd."

Lexie Hull also responded to the comment, dropping three video emojis, "📹📹📹". Sophie Cunningham saw the exchange and made a hilarious demand.

“The no invite is CRAZYYYYY! You two better make up for this horrible TikTok,” Cunningham replied, clearly asking to be included in the video.

Both the Indiana Fever and Cunningham have already shown interest in continuing their partnership. Still, they need to agree on a new contract to make it official.

So far, Cunningham hasn’t signed a new deal because the Fever focused on Kelsey Mitchell first, who already secured a record-breaking one-year, $1.4 million extension.

Cunningham could be next on the team's list. Especially because the 6-foot-1 guard proved her value as a wing scorer and defender, averaging 8.6 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 1.7 three-pointers in 25.2 minutes before a knee injury, and her style fits well alongside Caitlin Clark.

While her free agency decision is still up in the air, Cunningham is clearly locked in on the season ahead.

Sophie Cunningham Eyes Big Return After Injury

Despite the talk about her future, Sophie Cunningham appears focused. She recently posted an Instagram video showing herself doing hill runs to build fitness for the upcoming season.

In the caption, she made it clear she’s concentrating on the season ahead instead of the noise around her free agency. “2 miles + hills. Come on season. Good signs, get that mind right,” she wrote.

Over the summer, the 29-year-old shared updates on her recovery from MCL surgery that ended her first Fever season after 30 games, and her offseason work now seems to be paying off.

So, do you think Indiana Fever should prioritize re-signing Sophie Cunningham next after Kelsey Mitchell? Let us know!
