‘So Proud of You’: Caitlin Clark Shows Love After Lexie Hull’s Big Launch

While Lexie Hull kicks off a career beyond basketball, Caitlin Clark’s latest move suggests that she might just be Hull’s biggest supporter.
With May nearing, Clark has her hands busy, preparing for yet another blockbuster season. But what to do when your friend marks their first business brand move? As expected, Clark’s Instagram response said it all.
Hull’s latest post’s caption read, “Over 2 years of waiting to share @fortacosmetics with the world and the day is finally here! So excited for you to try.” And Clark didn’t waste a moment to drop a “So proud of you” under it.
This has been a passion project for Hull, whose motto behind developing the brand was, “You don’t have to sit still to look pretty.” A highly athletic lifestyle that is beaming with energy, Hull herself was the “target consumer,” while her Fever teammate, Aliyah Boston, also appreciated her endeavor.
“Starting a makeup line specifically built for the active person” was her drive, and Clark couldn’t be any more supportive. If the comment wasn’t enough, she even added five white hearts. However, this support isn’t one-sided.
Lexie Hull's Support for Caitlin Clark
Despite suffering a season-ending injury last year and being off-court for 8 months, Clark’s performance was anything but rusty. And her most recent on-court success came in the form of an MVP award during her FIBA qualifiers debut in San Juan.
But Hull didn’t need to see the MVP award to celebrate her. The 26-year-old of the Tres Leches Trio took it to her socials, as she shared a post from the Fever celebrating Clark's performance. Her caption said, “she's baaaaack".
But even putting these on-court matters aside, Hull and Clark’s relationship is beyond peer ship. From vacationing together to celebrate each other’s achievements, they’ve come a long and there’s more to go.
Moving forward, do you think Clark will try Hull’s makeup brand publicly to promote it? Let us know in the comments.
