'So Deserving!' Angel Reese Reacts to LV Aces' Newest Coaching Addition

Ahead of May, some roster and locker room changes are inevitable. But with her latest post, Angel Reese celebrated a specific change in the Las Vegas Aces camp.

The Chicago Sky star had been vocal about her own franchise’s development scope last season. While that is yet to show any effect, Reese couldn’t help but celebrate the Las Vegas Aces’ new locker room addition with an X post.

“Congrats Nola! So deserving!”, Reese reposted the Aces’ original X update on March 25, which welcomed Nola Henry as a coaching staff. The caption to the Aces' post celebrating Henry's induction went, “Adding another Ace to the deck, Aces fans, join us in welcoming our newest Assistant Coach.”

Henry’s coaching career started as a Connecticut Sun intern in 2020 and made a round through the Los Angeles Sparks’ and Dallas Wings’ locker rooms. But her most notable time has been with the Unrivaled League’s Rose BC.

Reese helped the team win a championship last season under Henry’s coaching and is not unaware of her game. And beyond team rivalry, Reese’s happiness is natural given the bond she shares with the coach.

Angel Reese Has Praised NOLA Henry Previously as Well

Henry was the second-youngest head coach in the Unrivaled league and also made history as the first coach to win a championship in the inaugural season. Tho she has coached stars like Chelsea Gray, Brittney Sykes, Kahleah Copper, etc., Reese has been particularly appreciative.

“Nola is so deserving! The youngest b**** woman, but you the BIGGEST!” the Sky Town Barbie took to her socials, celebrating the coach's achievement of winning the Unrivaled 2025 title with Rose BC. “Smell your flowers! WHEN YOU SEE IT, YOU CAN BE IT!"

And Henry echoed that sentiment. She praised Reese’s willingness always to be ready for a challenge, saying, “that’s what makes her different.” And “despite having to compete against her in the WNBA”, Henry wants Reese “to be the best basketball player possible.”

Now that she’ll be coaching the Aces, and Reese will be back with the Sky Town, we’ll see how the on-court business unfolds. What do you say? Comment it down.
