Simone Biles Sets Up Exciting “Date” With WNBA Following Relocation to Indiana

Mar 19, 2026, 10:14 PM CUT

Simone Biles has pulled up to Indianapolis, a place that she’d call home now. It could’ve been hard to settle down in a new place, but not with Lexie Hull around.

The Gymnast icon had to move cities as her husband, NFL star Jonathan Owens, just signed a one-year deal with the Indianapolis Colts. But as Biles confirmed the shift through an Instagram post, Hull knew what to do.

A fan took it to X, writing, “Simone-Lexie lunch date loading!” It highlighted the original Instagram post interaction between Biles and Hull. The Indiana Fever star commented, “Indy is excited to have you!!!” Which Biles replied with, “Lunch??? I’ll bring my stilts!!!”

And given the current situation, that lunch might just actually happen. During her last season with the Fever, Hull averaged 7.2 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 1.8 assists, and with the new CBA, the franchise can just pull her back into the roster.

So, Hull can remain in Indy and grab that lunch with Biles, who’d be here for a year now. And given their previous encounters, there might just be a lot to catch up on!

Lexie Hull and Simone Biles Have Met Before

Their first encounter dates back to August 28, 2024, when Biles attended her first WNBA game. Hull played for the Fever as they took on the Connecticut Sun at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. They interacted post-game, hitting off the bond, which would only get polished later.

Later in January 2025, Hull joined Athleta’s “Power of She Collective.” A brand that Biles had been part of since 2021. So, being brand partners for over a year has given them enough chances to be familiar with each other.

Moreover, Hull wasn’t the only one to comment under Biles’ post. Fever’s official account also welcomed her, writing, “Welcome to Indy”. So, Biles' lunch date with Hull might actually transform into one with multiple Fever stars.

However, how soon do you think that Biles and Hull will catch up for their planned date?
