Fans know that Angel Reese can pull off anything she wears. But there’s a specific jersey they think will suit her the most.

The Chicago Sky star looked great in her red USA jersey, which she flaunted once more on her socials. But this time, Allisha Gray and Rhyne Howard were fast with their really specific response under Reese’s post.

“I know another red jersey you can wear”, wrote Howard. To which Gray replied, “With 3 letters as well!!!” I Talk Hoops captioned this incident on X, "Looks like Allisha Gray and Rhyne Howard are starting the recruiting pitch for Angel Reese early.”

The Atlanta Dream duo just returned from Puerto Rico after playing the FIBA Qualifiers tournament with Reese on the same roster.

And now that they initiated this conversation, the fans had a lot to add.

Fans Had Varied Opinions About Angel Reese's Attire

Despite her elite rebounding, scoring prowess, and a long list of individual achievements, the 23-year-old hasn’t been able to win a title with her franchise. And the fans think that Chicago isn’t the place for her; there’s something better.

“She'd be perfect in ATL maaaan, Chi wasting her and Milla”, wrote a fan. Another added, “ATL should offer their first-round pick and 2027 first-round pick.” “Yeah, Lish and Rhy get her there”, a fan supported. While another wrote, “They’re like the ultimate recruiters, them other organisations better watch out.”

Last season, Reese expressed her frustration with the roster and the organisation. She hinted at leaving the team if things don’t improve. The organisation deemed that her claims were "detrimental to the team” and delivered a suspension. So, fans said that anywhere is better for AR5 than Sky.

“Chicago Sky needs to get their "LOSER MENTALITY" together, because that's all they're good for when it comes to Angel Reese and trade her where she'll be appreciated as a basketball player and a championship winner, unlike some”, one wrote.

Echoing the same sentiment, another fan added, “Don’t care where she goes, just get her up out of Chicago”. “Just get Angel Reese out of Chicago, where she was let down by management and her team but loved by the fans”, another supported.

Last season, some Sky fans also criticised Reese. Claiming that no one wanted to play with her, because she chased her double-double streak despite her “really, really inefficient” shooting, leading to other veterans requesting a trade. And this time, fans made sure to bring that up.

“But nobody wants to play with her, as she is a free agent; every team is going to be calling her phone”, one wrote. Another added more sarcasm, writing, “Oh, but I thought no one wanted to play with 5…” “And they say no one wants to play with Angel”, said another.

Now, Reese is under contract through 2027 and has talked about returning to the Sky.
