“Queen in Every US Town”: Fans Go Wild as Mikaela Shiffrin Drops Stunning New Post

Mikaela Shiffrin keeps lighting up every place she sets foot on. And seeing her latest post, fans expressed that they’re all here for it.
After capturing her sixth career Crystal Globe and tying an all-time record for most women’s overall ski titles since 1979, the 4x Olympic medalist stopped by NYC. And her latest post captured the moment well.
The caption only says, "NYC," but that No. 1 medal emoji couldn’t be missed. In the photo, Shiffrin is in an outstanding outfit, looking as healthy as one could get, with the heels acting as a special highlight.
As she looked backwards to pose for the photo, with her medal swung upon her shoulder, one of America’s greatest Alpine skiers, Shiffrin, truly looked like the champion that she is. And the fans over X couldn’t help but hype that up.
Fans Hyped Up Mikaela Shiffrin on X
Widely considered the greatest American alpine skier of all time, Shiffrin holds the all-time record for the most World Cup wins by any alpine skier with 110 victories, male or female. Now she has tied the record set by Annemarie Moser-Pröll with her 6th Crystal Globe, too. And a fan had a perfect claim.
“Queen in every US town!” they wrote. While another added, “Rockin' some NY-Ceeeeee.” “Love the framing on this one,” another commentator wrote.
The fans just aren’t used to seeing Shiffrin rocking other outfits that aren’t her very usual skiing ones. So, seeing her in a skirt and heels and in the city, outside of all the professional gear and ice slopes, has caught some fans really off guard.
“From mountains to city views—such a different kind of perspective. Feels like two completely different worlds,” wrote a fan. One echoed a similar feeling, “A slightly different outfit.” Meanwhile, another fan highlighted her skills, writing, “Bet you could get down those skyscrapers in about seven turns.”
Shiffrin has set an example of resilience, hard work, and an indomitable fighting spirit on the slopes. So, seeing her enjoy her time after the long list of records, needless to say, fans were hyped. What’s your take on her current feat, though? Comment below.
