Pink’s Hilarious Response Steals the Show After Chloe Kim’s Hosting Mix-Up

Chloe Kim landed all of her Olympic jumps perfectly, but a funny little mix-up happened when she tried to land a compliment recently.
The 25-year-old won a silver medal in the women's snowboard halfpipe final at the 2026 Winter Olympics, despite competing with a shoulder injury. However, the 3X consecutive Olympic medal winner, Kim, was caught up in a funny, little embarrassing moment with Pink.
“Can I make a confession?”, Kim asked Pink on March 3, in The Kelly Clarkson Show. “Growing up, when I was like 12... I loved listening to your music... Like 'What doesn't kill you makes you...” And this could’ve been an “aww” moment, except it was not Pink’s song.
The lyrics she sang were from Stronger, by Kelly Clarkson. But Pink embraced the moment light-heartedly, even joking, “That’s Kelly Clarkson…But that’s fine because I’m Kelly Clarkson today”. Since she was filling in for the regular host. However, that did not help Kim’s embarrassment.
“Wait, guys. I'm so embarrassed. I'm so sorry”, Kim said as the audience and Pink continued laughing. “So, I took a nap before I came on here today, and I literally woke up 5 minutes ago. But now I love your music, I do.”
What followed was Pink hugging her, saying, “We’re good”, as laughter rolled on. However, the 3-time Grammy winner shifted the gears of the conversation to Kim's own musical aspirations.
Chloe Kim’s Musical Career
The two-time Olympic gold medallist took part in season 4 of Fox's Masked Singer in 2020, reaching the semifinals as Jellyfish. And adhering to that, Pink asked if Kim wants to record her own music eventually. But despite being a talented singer, Kim turned that down.
“So, I was on the Masked Singer, and I feel like I was really into that idea when I was on 'cause I was in that mode”, she said. “But now I'm kind of like, that sounds like a lot of work. I don't know how you guys do it."
Previously, in a 2020 interview with Entertainment Weekly, Kim admitted that her family’s interest got her into it, who were “obsessed with the Korean version of the show”.
But her recent perspective on it seems to have changed. It is a “therapeutic hobby” for her rather than something serious.
Moving forward, would you choose a singer Kim over a snowboarder Kim? Comment it down.
