This WNBA offseason continues to see players venture beyond the league and take their basketball talent international. A familiar name linked to Paige Bueckers is making the news.

Dallas Wings forward Diamond Miller is going to Greece to make a new chapter in her pro journey. The Dallas Wings announced the move on X, sharing, "We have another Wings on Tour stop on deck ".

Miller has signed up to play for Athinaikos Qualco WBC Byron Athens. This professional women’s basketball club also competes in the EuroCup. She will debut facing Panathinaikos at 5:30 a.m. CT.

The Greek-based club has dark red and yellow team colors and is first in the standings at 10-1. The Montclair native brings size (6'3), athleticism, and diversity to the roster.

Aiming to make noise overseas has become a common thing in the WNBA, with other players like Kalani Brown and Kamilla Cardoso playing for the Chinese WBC.

For Miller, however, this opportunity comes at a perfect time to showcase her talent because of the way her 2025 season was split between 2 teams.

Diamond Miller's journey from WNBA to Greece

Drafted no. 2 by the Minnesota Lynx in the 2023 draft, Miller ended her rookie season with the All-Rookie honors. She averaged 12.1 points per game as a starter for the Lynx.

She was traded to the Dallas Wings in 2025. Playing 15 games with the team alongside Paige Bueckers, she averaged 3.9 points and 2 rebounds. Her potential was never in question as she played for Maryland and averaged 14.6 points per game in her college career.

Overall across three WNBA seasons, Miller has averaged 6.5 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game, showing flashes of the two-way impact from her college days.

As Miller starts in this new stint, she will look to sharpen her defensive and offensive skills to elevate her game.

All eyes are on Miller, while Bueckers herself prepares for her first season of Unrivaled in Miami.
