Olivia Miles Enters Record Books Behind Only Caitlin Clark & Sabrina Ionescu

When widely projected lottery pick for 2025, Olivia Miles decided to delay her entrance into the WNBA; she was in for a big challenge.
Shifting from the ACC to the Big 12 with TCU, Miles has etched her name in NCAA history, recording her 4th triple-double in the 5 games, scoring at least 12 points.
Her most recent triple-double came on December 31st, when she posted 12 points, 10 assists, and 12 rebounds against BYU. The Horned Frogs defeated BYU 72-48 at the Marriott Center in Utah to extend their unbeaten streak to 14-0.
Marking her 10th career triple-double, the Philipsburg native earned a place in the all-time top 3. She's only behind 2 other breakout college stars, Sabrina Ionescu (26) and Caitlin Clark (17).
As ESPN rightly quoted, "December was the month of Olivia Miles." TCU stands 2nd in the conference and 8th nationally, running on a 12-game schedule. conference win streak, the longest single-season streak in program history across both the men’s and women’s teams.
“I made a promise and commitment to myself that the first time I step on campus, I'm going to be a pro, and that's going to translate and carry over to the season and then to the W,” she told Slam Magazine before the start of the season.
Additionally, she surpassed Brittney Griner’s Big 12 record for most triple-doubles in a single season, reaching four in just 25 days.
Olivia Miles' record-breaking night
Besides the triple-doubles, Miles became only the ninth player in NCAA history with 1,500 points, 700 rebounds, and 700 assists to her name. The early rebound in the first quarter against the Cougars was the 700th rebound of her career.
Earlier, TCU had only 3 triple-doubles in its program history. But now, Olivia Miles has single-handedly passed that record, holding four of the eight all-time triple-doubles.
In the 36 minutes played, she made 2 of 6 from the deep with 2 blocks and 1 steal. The performance added to the guard averaging 18.4 points, 7.5 rebounds and 7.8 assists while shooting 52% from the field.
