Olivia Dunne might be switching her career paths. But her recent move highlights that the humour remains top-notch.

The former LSU icon is kicking off her acting career after her gymnast, entrepreneur, and social media influencer era. But amidst her Baywatch reboot shoot, Dunne didn’t forget to bring her humour ‘on the truck’.

On March 21, Dunne shared the People’s Instagram promo post, which featured some photos from the shooting. But the spotlight was on what she wrote in her story: “cleanest truck you’ll ever see.”

In the photo, the 23-year-old was sitting on a truck. She struck a pose of cleaning it, wearing the Baywatch signature red swimsuit. And while she is playing just a lifeguard in the reboot, Livvy Dunne is keeping the set fun.

However, Dunne isn’t new to this commenting game, and her humorous online presence is already well-known. But jokes aside, the LSU icon is quite serious about her acting career.

Olivia Dunne Has Been Serious About Acting Since Long

Dunne even hard-launched her acting announcement with a playful Instagram post a few days ago. She wrote, “I’m not a lifeguard, but I play one on TV.” But that does not mean she was any less serious about her acting career.

“One thing people would be surprised about is that I take acting lessons and I really love it”, she said during a recent People interview. “It’s something I’ve been passionate about for quite some time.”

At LSU, Dunne was the top female NIL athlete nationwide who led the Tigers to their first-ever NCAA Gymnastics Championship in 2024. However, her interest in acting lasted throughout her 5-year collegiate tenure.

“I was interested in doing that (acting) at LSU, but sports are your top priority when you’re a student-athlete at school”, she added. “And now that I’m done with school, I have more time to lean into the acting stuff and the creative side of things.”

So, the jokes might be for fun and giggles, but 'Livvy' Dunne will not be playing around when the cameras start rolling.
