Caitlin Clark was recently on Basketball Night in America, making her return to the NBC show for the first time since her viral February debut. The Indiana Fever opined on a bunch of things during the segment, commenting on Nikola Jokic as well.

"I think everybody knew he was going to do everything he could to get back. And, I mean, there’s not many people that average a triple-double." Clark said.

She added, "He’s done it all year long and back-to-back years, so it’s pretty incredible. And honestly, he’s probably my favorite player to watch, and I think he’s the best player in the world."

Caitlin Clark's comment has evoked a humorous response from the star Serbian hooper, who said, "We have the same agent. That's why she said it."

And the 31-year-old wasn't entirely joking, as Caitlin Clark and Jokic are both represented by Excel Sports Management.

Nikola Jokic's response came during a postgame media session after he clocked in 25 points, 15 rebounds, and 8 assists in the Denver Nuggets’ 116–93 win over the Golden State Warriors on March 29, 2026.

Furthermore, Caitlin Clark's praise wasn’t random; it was well-deserved.

Jokic has been putting together another incredible season. He was leading the MVP race earlier this year before a left knee hyperextension kept him out for most of January. However, he has made a full recovery and is back in form.

The three-time MVP is averaging 27.9 points on 57.4% shooting, along with a league-high 12.8 rebounds and 10.8 assists. He’s currently third in the MVP race and has led the Nuggets to a 48–28 record, landing them in the fourth place in the Western Conference.

Having said that, another noteworthy moment during the segment featuring Caitlin Clark was when she spoke about her opportunity to photograph LeBron James.

Caitlin Clark Opens Up About LeBron Photo Moment

The recent Pacers-Lakers game, in case you missed it, saw Caitlin Clark on the courtside, wielding a camera as a credentialed photographer.

The star WNBA hooper showcased some of the pictures she took of LeBron James after the face-off, captioning the post, The KING... Shot by ME."

Speaking about the images during the broadcast, Clark said, "That was my greatest shot. I need to print it out and get him to sign it for me. That's my GOAT, honestly."

She further revealed an awkward yet hilarious moment that happened during the game.

"I swear we made eye contact, so I sat down the camera, and I smiled at him," Caitlin Clark said. "And he just looked at me with a straight face. I’m like ‘he didn’t even see me,’ but the photos turned out well."

Although LeBron James did not acknowledge Clark at the game, the King liked the photo and shared it as an Instagram story, expressing his appreciation.
