Nike’s Caitlin Clark Campaign Brings Travis Kelce and Unexpected Faces

When Michael Jordan signed with Nike, it brought a revolution.
With immense love, his shoes made it to the court and soon became a style icon. Years later, Caitlin Clark is supposedly next, with her shoes getting sold out in minutes. And Nike, even this time, is capitalizing on the opportunity.
The sports apparel brand came up with the first of many commercials featuring Caitlin Clark on Christmas Day 2024. The ad shows off CC’s limitless range in a new brand anthem titled “From Anywhere.” But that isn’t the most impressive part of the campaign.
The instant-classic commercial also featured rapper Travis Scott, comedian Michael Che, collegiate coach Lisa Bluder, and football legends Travis and Jason Kelce.
Nike initially dropped the ad on social media with the caption, “Caitlin Clark is proof that you can make it from anywhere,” with a 46-second video that ends with the Nike Swoosh logo and Clark’s double-C signature logo.
Well, this is just the first of multiple installments from the marketing campaign as Nike gears up for a massive year with CC. Back in August, the team unveiled CC’s signature logo and began rolling out her apparel collection. They launched multiple Nike Kobe basketball shoes in CC’s player-exclusive colorways.
Now that all of them have been smash hits in the sneaker industry, Nike will soon launch CC’s first signature basketball shoe in 2026. So far, there haven’t been any official images, tech specs, a firm launch date, or pricing, only a promise.
Last year, CC signed a historic eight-year, $28 million signature footwear and apparel deal with Nike. Since then, she has been actively participating in multiple marketing campaigns. But will she be able to take over one of the toughest competitors?
Sabrina Ionescu X Nike
Sabrina Ionescu’s Nike sneakers have become some of the most trusted shoes in the basketball world. They have been the second-most-worn shoes in the NBA, after the Kobe 6.
Her shoes were debuted by Jazzy Davidson in the Nike Sabrina 3 player edition in a custom colorway. They are widely acknowledged for their comfort and chic design.
From USC and Duke to Oregon, nearly every university has athletes playing in the Sabrina line. So undoubtedly, she is going to be the competitor to CC. But can Caitlin, with immense popularity, top the charts?
