From unbeaten powerhouses to rising underdogs, NCAA Women’s Basketball has some high-scoring standout performers. As we get through the last stretch of December, this ranking separates the top 10 heavy-scoring teams from the rest.

10. UConn’s drop

It's not normal to see this storied franchise at the bottom of any list. But this time the Huskies are at number 10 through 987 points scored in 11 games played, averaging at 89.7 PPG.

Their next test comes against the Iowa Hawkeyes, providing an opportunity to score more points.

9. Nebraska Wins

Unbeaten at 11-0 in the NCAA Women’s Basketball, Nebraska grabs number 9 with 1 point more than UConn, 988, and an average of 89. 8 PPG.

Their 21-2 first quarter against Illinois State is a perfect example of their scoring power.

8. South Carolina Stays Dangerous

South Carolina takes 8th rank with triple digits of 1099 points in 12 games. Their highest scorer, Joyce Edwards, averages 21. 4 PPG out of the team's 91.6 average points score.

7. Wolverines make it despite fewer plays

Michigan holds a position at 7 with fewer points than Michigan, but in fewer games played, too. They have scored 920 points scored in 10 games played so far in the season. They last won 85-59 against Akron.

6. Michigan State Enters the List

Michigan State has made 925 points in 10 games with a 92.5 average. Kennedy Blair, Rashunda Jones, and Grace Vanslooten are the top 3 scores for the Spartans.

5. Iowa State stays at 5

The Cyclones have power scored like Audi Crooks, who allow them to average 92.8 PPG with a total of 1113 points in 12 games played.

Crooks alone averages 27.8 points, leading the conference.

4. Texas Remains Unbeaten

Vic Schaefer’s Texas holds number 4 with a matching 1212 points scored in 13 games, where they have gone unbeaten. Averaging 93.2 points per game, the Longhorns are on a roll since their last win over Northwestern State.

3. Sooner on a roll at 3

Oklahoma Sooners rise to number 3 with 1125 points with an 11-1. They blow up games with an average of 93.8 points every night. They had their longest win streak this season with 9 consecutive wins.

2. Oklahoma Takes a Jump

Oklahoma State climbs to No 2 with 1220 points and could catch the Number 1 point scoring team soon. With a 93.8 average, Jacie Hoyt's Cowboys Women’s stand atop some big names.

1. LSU Beats All

LSU has beaten everyone in its way with a 12-0. The Tigers rarely skip against unranked teams, and their 91-33 win over Morgan State proves it. LSU has 1293 points with a 107. 8 average.
