Kai Trump is taking in the sights at Augusta National. Despite a recent injury, the 18-year-old golfer made an appearance at The Masters, sharing her experience with millions of followers on social media.
While Kai is not fit enough to participate in any tournaments yet, visiting golf's holy ground was a great opportunity to meet the best players in the world and further receive motivation.
The 18-year-old took to Instagram on Friday to showcase her photos with the famous white leaderboards, towering pines, and even with two-time US Open champion Bryson DeChambeau.
Kai's love for golf arrived at a very early age. While her grandfather, Donald Trump, is a huge backer of the sport himself, Kai credits her mom, Vanessa Trump, with initiating her interest in the greens.
"I started playing when I was 2, and my mom actually introduced me to golf," Trump revealed in her YouTube video.
Speaking of YouTube videos, Kai has reached a huge fan following on social media with her golf content, spanning 9 million followers across all platforms.
But the 18-year-old does not want to stop her passion for golf at just content creation. She has committed to the University of Miami after signing with the Hurricanes and hopes to join the LPGA Tour soon.
Meanwhile, Kai is also back to training after successfully undergoing surgery in January to repair her ECU tendon stabilizing tissues and the triangular fibrocartilage complex (TFCC).
But for now, Kai's trip to golf's holy ground naturally attracted a lot of attention on social media.
Fans React to Kai Trump's Visit to the Augusta National
One fan said, "Magical!!!" Augusta National is the best golf course in the world. It has hosted the Masters Tournament since 1934.
"Hopefully, Bryson has a better game tomorrow," one person said. DeChambeau has won the US Open twice and is widely thought to be one of the most skilled players on the PGA Tour.
"How is college golf going, young lady?" one fan wrote. Recently, Kai signed up for the University of Miami's Hurricanes program.
"Did you put your name in the lottery to win tickets? Ha," a fan commented. Master's tickets are known for being some of the hardest to get in all of sports, with a limited number of badges available through a public lottery system.
"Love people that chase their passions!" another fan wrote. Her dedication is clear as she's already back to training after her January surgery.
