The Lunar Owls are heading into their second season with Unrivaled. But instead of reshuffling, the team seems to lean into proven production, star power, and skill sets. And these four returners define just that for the Owls.
Napheesa Collier
Napheesa Collier, the reigning Unrivaled MVP, remains the foundation of the Lunar Owls after an MVP-winning season. In three games, she averaged 25.7 points, 10.6 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 2 steals, and 1.4 blocks. And her shooting average? 61.8% from the field.
It’s not just volume scoring where Collier excels. Her efficiency, defensive versatility, and leadership anchor the Owls on both ends. Even with 18.6 minutes, she dictated tempo and matchups, making her the team’s unquestioned centerpiece entering Season two.
Skylar Diggins
Skylar Diggins has already showcased production and backcourt control. She averaged 17.9 points, 4.8 assists, 2.7 rebounds, and 1.5 steals, shooting 51% from the field.
Diggins’ tendency to break through defenses and control the pace of the game gives the Owls an offensive structure. Her experience and shot-making balance Collier’s interior dominance, allowing Lunar Owls to remain composed in tight, possession-heavy games.
Marina Mabrey
Marina Mabrey appeared in three games but made her presence felt with her numbers. She averaged 14.7 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 2.7 assists. Her shooting efficiency, however, dipped to 39.5%. But her defense game made up for it.
Mabrey brings edge, perimeter scoring, and lineup flexibility to the game. Needless to say, she adds another offensive layer to an already versatile core.
Aaliyah Edwards
Aaliyah Edwards joined the Owls after an efficient campaign. She posted 7.6 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.1 assists, and 0.6 blocks while shooting 57% from the field.
Edwards provides physical balance in the frontcourt and reliable production in limited touches. Her rebounding and interior presence allow Collier to operate more freely. And that reinforces a roster designed for depth and durability.
With star power, efficiency, and defined roles already in place, Lunar Owls are protecting their chemistry. And with newcomers like Rebecca Allen and Rachel Banham, the Owls’ season two is all about execution.
