Livvy Dunne Steals the Spotlight During Lane Kiffin’s SEC Interview

Media coverage is constant, but the fun should never stop. And the recent interaction between Olivia 'Livvy' Dunne and Lane Kiffin made that quite clear.
On February 27, two of the most well-known LSU Tigers icons were present at the big LSU vs. Alabama Gymnastics competition. While both were under maximum media coverage, Dunne knew how to create a funny moment out of the camera focus they received.
Kiffin, the new LSU football coach, was giving an SEC interview regarding his first gymnastics meet in Baton Rouge. While he was busy speaking, LSU’s gymnastic icon, Dunne, chose to photobomb the interview with Aleah Finnegan. Appearing behind the coach, smiling and mugging for the camera.
Kiffin, who was totally unaware of the photobombing, took it to X once he got to know about Dunne's act. Calling the young athletes “clout chasers” jokingly. Nevertheless, Dunne embraced the moment on Instagram by sharing the video with the hashtag #JustDifferent and three laughing emojis.
However, things did not end with the photobombing just. Dunne had Kiffin doing something that is usually very out of character for the coach.
Livvy Dunne and Lane Kiffin Made a TikTok Video
The funny, light-hearted banter was not the only thing these two did. It’s unknown whose idea that was, but Dunn and Kiffin’s TikTok video was reportedly one of those moments when the 50-year-old coach had willingly been a part of a TikTok.
Made on the famous audio that goes, “You wish that was you, hah?”, was almost the continuation of the “clout chasing” moment. In the video, Kiffin asks the question to Dunne, who just replies with an eye roll.
The scenery matches the previous incident almost comically, where Dunne was trying to be a part of Kiffin’s interview. Later on Saturday, these two again exchanged words on X, where Kiffin joked that he could "get an injunction" if Dunne wants to play for the Tigers again. And Dunne replied, “12th year senior szn incoming”.
The light-heartedness of their interaction speaks volumes about how generational crossovers can still have a friendly flair. Do you think we’ll get to see more interaction between Kiffin and Dunne in the future? Comment down your thoughts.
