While Livvy Dunne grabbed the spotlight with another SI Swimsuit release, she revealed how her boyfriend, Paul Skenes, keeps proving he is her biggest supporter.

On May 14, the former LSU gymnast appeared for the 2026 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit launch party in New York City. And there, in an interview with the PEOPLE, Dunne revealed how the Pittsburgh Pirates ace reacted to her photos.

“I texted him. I was like, 'Hey, the SI photos are out’, and he's like, 'Where can I see them?' As if he doesn't know,” Dunne recalled sharing an online link with him. “He loved it. Yeah, he loved it. He always does.”

Considering that this is her 4^th year with the SI since 2023, and “they keep asking (her) back”, Dunne admitted that she feels “so flattered.” And having the MLB star always supporting her makes everything even better.

The 23-year-old reached Loreto, Baja California Sur, Mexico and was photographed by James Macari this year. May 12 marked the official launch date for the magazine, while her Instagram showed the sneak peeks on March 24.

But regardless of the time and whatever role Dunne takes, Skenes' support has been a constant. And she had talked about it earlier as well.

Dunne and Skenes kick-started their relationship in 2023, when she was still an LSU athlete. But despite the tough schedules, both kept making time for each other. And Dunne emphasised its importance.

“I just think being super present with one another while you're together, while you have that time together, is super important,” she said to PEOPLE in February. “He makes time to come to my events. I make time to go watch him pitch.”

Going past their schedule conflicts and two different worlds they operate in, both Dunne and Skenes keep being each other’s biggest fans. But this time, Skenes surely won the round.
