Looking past social media influencer and gymnastics topics, Olivia, aka Livvy Dunne, opened up about the one thing she follows in the course of her relationship with MLB star Paul Skenes.
The 23-year-old former LSU gymnast’s relationship with the Pittsburgh Pirates’ ace has long been publicised since 2023. But amidst that, Dunne revealed one key factor that keeps the boat sailing smoothly.
"I think that everything is a two-way road, so being fair," Dunne stated in an exclusive interview with PEOPLE. "We don't restrict each other from doing things... He has a job to do and I have a job to do. I know that's so important for two young kids in a relationship to realize.”

As the highest-paid NIL athlete during her LSU tenure, Dunne also solidified her status as a social media influencer. While a big portion of Skenes’ life revolved around the diamond, hers involved the world of content and media.
But their contrasting lifestyles did not affect them. Both enjoyed what they were doing while constantly being present for each other. Especially Dunne, who found more time to attend Skenes’ games.
As much as she valued gymnastics, Dunne’s life got more flexible afterwards. And while supporting Skenes, the LSU icon revealed how she’s approaching her own future.
Livvy Dunne’s Life Without Gymnastics
Loving a sport since the age of 3, many would face difficulties adjusting to life outside of it. But that was not the case with Dunne, who excelled in her sport but also found her momentum without it.
"I think that taking every opportunity and seizing it and doing it to the best of my abilities... that's just been in my nature because of gymnastics and being a perfectionist,” she said. “My life has revolved around gymnastics.”
But, to be doing things outside of it and “to be able to say yes to more things”, Dunne chimed in that she is indeed “very excited." And one of her new hobbies is “rating hot dogs at every stadium (she goes) to.”
