Livvy Dunne Helps Drive 1 Million Sales With Viral Cotton Candy Flavor

Livvy Dunne keeps proving that she’s a total game-changer. And this time, the Accelerator Active Energy realised it firsthand.

Balancing her acting career and entrepreneurship seamlessly, the former LSU gymnast has actively contributed to her long-running partnership with Accelerator Active Energy brand. But the recent success exceeded any previous benchmarks.

“Over 1 MILLION cans later… I guess y’all like the cotton candy”, Dunne took to her Instagram story, sharing drinkaccelerator’s post. It read, “We can think of 1 MILLION reasons why @livvydunne’s Cotton Candy is the best flavor out there. 1 MILLION CANS SOLD and it’s all thanks to YOU!!”

Accelerator wouldn’t have seen this coming in last April, when they just launched Dunne's signature Cotton Candy flavor. Shortly, the drink saw major success, becoming Accelerator's #1 SKU. And by this April, it surpassed 1 million cans sold.

The new visual, new identity, and the success that came with it highlight Dunne’s impact as a top NIL athlete and equity partner. She joined the brand in 2023, and things haven’t been the same ever since.

Dunne has been with this brand ever since her LSU tenure and has seen the growth surge. And moving forward, she didn’t hold back from talking about it.

Livvy Dunne’s Time With the Accelerator Active Energy

As a high-profile NIL athlete, Dunne had been part of several partnerships and endorsements. Her social media influencer career thrives on that. However, this specific brand is something really special to her.

“I really value those longer partnerships,” she told Entrepreneur. “One-off deals can be great, especially if it’s a product you genuinely love, but long-term relationships show loyalty to the team, the partnership, and the product.”

And that’s what sets Accelerator apart from others. “Accelerator was the first brand I had equity in. In a sense, it’s like my baby”, said Dunne herself, highlighting her long-running bond with the brand.

So, seeing the growth and success of what she holds so dear must feel like an individual feat for Dunne.

Moving forward, are you thinking of trying the cotton candy flavor? Let us know in the comments.
