Kiki Rice Receives Support From BF Cason Wallace Following WNBA Draft Selection

Kiki Rice's boyfriend and Oklahoma City Thunder guard Cason Wallace was all gushed over watching Rice have her moment in the 2026 WNBA Draft.

The newly included Toronto Temper selected Rice, the sixth overall pick, on 13 April, making her the first draft pick in franchise history. Wallace was seen taking photos of Rice on the orange carpet in a video posted by the WNBA and said that it was "unbelievable" to see Rice "have her moment".

Wallace followed that sentiment right through Thursday, showering more praise on his girlfriend. “It was a lot of fun, just seeing my lady get drafted, and her and her family have fun,” Wallace said with a huge smile on his face, per Clemente Almanza.

Rice was a former five-star recruit who delivered on all the hype that was surrounding her at UCLA. She averaged 14.9 points, 5.9 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and 1.5 steals across 38 games while shooting 49% from the field and 38.5% from outside the arc.

Rice capped off her collegiate career by handing over the Bruins their first national championship in program history, while also earning multiple individual accolades, including All-American honors, Big Ten All-Defense, and conference tournament MVP.

This led the Tempo to hold pre-draft interviews with Rice, and they were thoroughly impressed by her maturity.

However, this was far from being the first time that Wallace put out a display of his support for Rice publicly.

Rice would be delighted to hear about Wallace's continued support for her. While the couple became public last year, their history with each other dates back longer than one can imagine.

Cason Wallace Has Been Kiki Rice’s Constant Support Mechanism

Rice and Wallace met each other in 2018 at the Junior NBA World Championship in Orlando. Before becoming household names, the then-teenagers stayed in touch through college.

The couple made their relationship public after Wallace won the NBA championship with the Thunder last year, in an interview with "WAG Talk".

Since then, the couple started making public appearances together, like going to the ESPYs and even attending a WNBA game between the Dallas Wings and the Washington Mystics.

Wallace has also supported Rice on every milestone. He was recently seen sporting a black t-shirt with Kiki Rice's image as a pre-game tunnel fit ahead of a Thunder game after Rice won the national championship with UCLA.

From just a grassroots basketball connection, the couple has grown into one of basketball's most beloved and celebrated relationships.

Do you know of any other sports couple who have each other's backs constantly like Wallace and Rice?
