Jordan Lee Shows Hidden Talent as Longhorns Dominate Opponents

While facing Southeastern Louisiana, Texas Longhorns star Jordan Lee caught fans' attention, not on the court, but with a gesture on the sidelines.
It all came at the 6:14 mark of the fourth quarter, when Lee showed off her cheerleading skills.
“As the pom-poms were thrown to Jordan Lee, she’s excited about it. She could have been a cheerleader in high school. We don’t know,” one of them said.
Lee immediately took a seat on the sideline and began waving the pom-poms, drawing smiles from the crowd. While it’s unclear whether she was ever a cheerleader, one thing is clear: she’s multi-talented.
Back in high school, she excelled not only in basketball but also in track and field. She won back-to-back state championships in the 800 meters and 1,600 meters, earning USA Junior Nationals All-American honors.
But there was another reason for Jordan Lee’s excitement
The No. 2 Longhorns had seven players score in double figures, including Lee, who finished with 16 points, leading Texas to a 120–38 win over Southeastern Louisiana at Moody Center.
Leading the way for them was Madison Booker, who reached 1,500 career points. She had 20 points and five rebounds for the Longhorns. Though the credit for the win goes to the entire roster.
That’s because Longhorns set the tone early with a dominant 30–6 run in the first quarter. By halftime, they had built a 70–20 lead. They forced 30 turnovers and held a massive 50–8 advantage in points off turnovers.
Even the bench joined the party, outscoring the Lady Lions 55–6. And when the final buzzer sounded, Texas had secured its sixth 100-point game of the season. So the win was emphatic. And yes, it was absolutely worth celebrating.
