Brewanna Stewart cannot catch a rest. After making her mark in the 3v3 league, Stewie is preparing for her next overseas adventure.

The six-time WNBA All-Star is all set to fly to Zaragoza and participate in the 2025-26 EuroLeague, donning the jersey of the Turkish powerhouse Fenerbahce Opet. However, this won't be the first time that Stewart will represent Fenerbahce Opet. She already has a history with the team.

On February 16, the EuroLeague Women’s official X handle broke the news with the caption, “The #EuroLeagueWomen Avengers?” The picture featured 5 athletes who have signed for Fenerbahce, including Stewart.

The New York Liberty star helped the Turkish team win its first-ever EuroLeague title in 2022. She claimed the Final Four MVP honors after scoring 35 points in the final game. And that is going to repeat in April, for the Final Six.

However, Stewart herself wanted to do it again. In the WNBA semifinals match in 2024, she walked out of the arena in Fenerbahçe’s jersey. And Mustafa K. Danabaş called this dream reunion worrisome for the opposing teams.

“She had a dream of wearing the striped jersey again one day… She loved the stripes. And now she's coming home. Now it's the others' turn to worry”, he mentioned on X.

Stewart is currently playing for the Unrivaled league, which will go into playoffs on February 28, following the final game on March 4. So, April will be an ideal time for the Liberty Forward to warm up and maybe win the title in a different league.

However, Stewart will return to the W League in May, but that heavily depends on the CBA negotiation. A pending CBA will delay the season. However, some positive news has come around.

Breanna Stewart Opened Up About the League’s Latest Proposal

In her podcast, “Game Recognize Game with Stewie & Myles”, Stewart gave a clearer outline of the new proposal on February 12. The league is heading to a revenue-sharing model, which will be good for both the league and the players. And the Star has shown excitement about this.

“We had a call that was, I think, very important and very positive”, she said. “I’m feeling like the owners are finally really acknowledging and being receptive of what we want. The players, as well, we all had to kind of put our business hats on and get into that mindset.”

She also mentioned the demand for minimum standards for all teams, like a chef, on-road massage therapist and better practice facility standards for all teams. If the league has already headed to the revenue-sharing part, high chance the rest will fall into place soon.
