Indiana Fever Turn Heads With Special Move for Cardi B Amid Caitlin Clark’s Absence

Mar 17, 2026, 8:49 PM CUT

With Caitlin Clark busy shooting hoops in San Juan, the Indiana Fever had to grab massive attention differently. And this time around, they shifted the focus to Cardi B.

On March 14, the 33-year-old hip-hop star took the stage for her "Little Miss Drama Tour" at Gainbridge Fieldhouse arena in Indianapolis. Clark may not have been present, but her team was. And they did a little something.

“Had to welcome Cardi B to @GainbridgeFH this past weekend with a custom jacket”, Fever’s official X post read on March 17. And they didn’t forget to show off the custom jacket in question.

With a sparkling, glittery base that is quite literally made for a hip-hop star, Fever hit the mark just right. A red border over the shoulders to the sleeves, with an additional yellow-red line running through the hem and collar, sealed the look.

Now, Clark may have missed it all, but the authorities can be happy that she's shining in the national jersey.

Caitlin Clark Is Topping the Roster

4 dominating wins and just one more to go, Team USA’s FIBA qualifier tournament’s stats are staggering. And the Fever star has been a driving force behind it, averaging 12.8 points, 6.5 assists and 1.5 rebounds.

Fever can boost the fact that CC ranks 1st in assists and 3rd in points. Despite finding the first game “clunky”, which lacked pace and transition, Clark was able to bridge the gaps where it was needed.

Her moments of assisting Angel Reese vs Puerto Rico, or bringing out some great chemistry with Paige Bueckers against New Zealand or Italy, have been circulating heavily. In the last game against New Zealand, Clark racked up 14 points and 6 assists with 0 turnovers.

Team USA will play Spain in their last qualifier game on March 17. Though they have already sealed the ticket to the final game in Berlin, how do you think Clark will perform against Spain? Comment it down.
