The Indiana Fever franchise continues to maintain the spirit of giving even after Christmas. However, this time, they bring a new meaning to taking the fandom off the court and onto the road.

The Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles has officially unveiled the franchise’s first-ever specialty Indiana Fever license plates in partnership with BMV.

This announcement comes at a moment when fans are seeking a way beyond buying merch to support the team and the community.

The new plates will directly benefit the Fever Fund, an initiative of the Pacers Foundation that focuses on empowering women and girls in Indiana.

Indiana Fever GM Amber Cox commented, "We’re thrilled to bring Fever fans another meaningful and fun way to represent their passion for this team".

BMV made it public on Friday, confirming a $40 annual price, with $25 from each plate going to The Fever Fund.

Cox added, "Every plate purchased fuels opportunities for women and girls across Indiana through the Fever Fund, ensuring that our impact grows far beyond the court.”

The Purpose behind the design

As per the Indiana Fever website, the Fever Fund invests in leadership and career readiness, confidence through sports and wellness, and safety and belonging.

The design features the signature 'F' logo in black placed on the left side of a white background. A clean and bold banner on the bottom reads “Fever Fund” in red.

Standard plates use the “WB” prefix, which stands for “women’s basketball,” while motorcycle plates will feature “EW,” meaning “Expect to Win,” a nod to the Indiana Fever’s mantra.

Fans can also customize the plates as per their choice by paying an additional fee. At the same time, they can purchase the new Fever plate at myBMV.com, in person, or from a BMV Connect kiosk for a standard plate renewal.

In addition to the Fever Fund..

The franchise supports various other initiatives: Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Lily, outreach programs, and much more.

The Indiana Fever became the most followed on Instagram team in May 2025 and has 977K followers currently. The franchise is using its reach to influence the Fever Nation to build an impact beyond basketball, one initiative at a time.
