This week, Notre Dame rolled to a 97–48 win over Morehead State. At home in South Bend, the 19th-ranked Irish build the game quarter-by-quarter leads with efficient scoring and rebounding.
However, that's not all!
Hannah Hidalgo once again led the charge
Hidalgo scored 26 points and 11 rebounds within just 30 minutes against Morehead State, scoring her second double-double of the season. She led with Notre Dame to a 15–0 run in the second half, pushing the game completely out of reach for Morehead.
Cassandre Prosper matched Hidalgo's impact with 20 points and 13 rebounds, giving Notre Dame a dominant win.
The Irish also got great production from Gisela Sanchez, who scored 9 points, Vanessa de Jesus's 16 points, 5 assists, and the bench.
Notre Dame, in total, shot 47% from the field and 46% from deep.
Morehead State tried to fight back
Although Morehead State struggled to keep up, Kate Dike scored 11 points, and the Eagles hit seven of their final eight shots. But by then, the Irish were firmly in control.
Notre Dame improved to 7–2 and stayed perfect at home, giving us a glimpse of how dominant they can be when Hidalgo and Prosper set the tone.
