Simone Biles overarching resume recently had an addition. And Noah Lyles’ latest move suggested that he’s all here for whatever Biles is up to.

If 11 Olympic medals weren’t impressive enough, the 29-year-old star recently cut the ribbon of her restaurant, “Taste of Gold.” Tho it hasn’t been long, Biles’ upscale café has already caught Lyles’ attention.

The NBC Olympics and Paralympics celebrated Biles’ restaurant by an X post, captioning, “Simone Biles now serving perfect 10’s at the table.” And Lyles didn’t waste time writing, “Oh, I will definitely be there in July.”

March 24 marked the official opening of Biles’ restaurant at the George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston, Texas. And freshly wedded to Jamaican sprinter Junelle Bromfield, flying to Texas might be a great respite for Lyles.

However, despite declaring 2026 “a fan’s year”, the Tokyo Seiko Golden Grand Prix, Rome, and Paris’ Diamond League will keep him busy in May and June. But it seems like the 28-year-old Sprinter is good to go in July.  

So, the 2024 Olympic teammates can sit down for a chat and enjoy good food in July at Biles’. But what exactly inspired the former gymnast to switch lanes?

History’s most decorated gymnast, with 11 Olympic medals and 30 World Championship medals, opening a restaurant, does not really go side by side seamlessly. But putting it all aside, Biles had a very plain reason.

"It was like a dream come true because when you're younger, you want to do crazy things like this, but you don't know how attainable it's going to be," Biles said. "So, whenever they came to us with the idea, which was a couple of years ago, I was like, 'Absolutely, I'm on board.'"

Partnering with the Athlete Playmaker Group brought Biles’ dream to reality, helping to develop the restaurant, which has a long way to go.
