South Carolina is heading to the Final Four, but their on-court performance isn't the only thing grabbing headlines. A hilarious post-game celebration involving the team's trophy and a TikTok video has gone viral, sparking a wave of reactions online.

Following their 78-52 win, sports reporter Michael Sauls from The State shared a photo on X and wrote, "South Carolina using the Final Four trophy as a phone stand to make TikToks is objectively hilarious."

In the picture, head coach Dawn Staley and players like Tessa Johnson, Raven Johnson, Sania Feagin, and MiLaysia Fulwiley were filming a TikTok video using the trophy as a phone stand.

It’s not something you usually see athletes do, but the team clearly chose to celebrate in their own way. And they had every reason to celebrate that day.

Joyce Edwards had a big game with 24 points and 12 rebounds, while Agot Makeer added 18 points and three steals off the bench.

Several players also hit important milestones. Tessa Johnson reached 1,000 career points and moved past Te-Hina Paopao to take third place in single-season three-pointers with 88. Raven Johnson hit 200 assists for the season, becoming just the fourth player in team history to do it, and she’s close to breaking Tyasha Harris’ record of 220.

Meanwhile, Joyce Edwards is now second on the all-time single-season scoring list, passing A'ja Wilson and Beth Hunt, and is just six points away from Katrina Anderson’s record of 754.

The Gamecocks are aiming for their fourth championship, all under head coach Dawn Staley, and chasing their first title since 2024. However, while this fan saw the fun side of the moment, others joked about the team's schedule.

"Bad news is UCONN is next😂😂," another user warned. After routing TCU, the Gamecocks will take on the undefeated UConn Huskies in the opener in Phoenix at the Footprint Center on April 3. Geno Auriemma's squad has been dominant, with Sarah Strong and Azzi Fudd leading by example. If there's any team that can defeat the Gamecocks, it's the Huskies.

"In everyone of this type of photos/videos appears Boyer, wondering what the h*** is going on. And I love her for it 😂," another user wrote, pointing out assistant coach Lisa Boyer’s consistently puzzled reaction.

"Youngins 🥰🥰🥰," another user added, reacting to the energy and excitement of the young players.
