5 WNBA Teams With Highest Scoring Average in 2025

Can you believe the highest scoring player this season in a single game was a rookie? Paige Bueckers' 44-point game against the Los Angeles Sparks back in August was one of the biggest highlights this season. However, even Bueckers couldn't bring her team into the highest scoring averages this season. Let's see who made it!
1. Minnesota Made It Look Easy
Dropping 86.1 points a night, they sat on top of the West and looked every bit the No. 1 seed. Napheesa Collier carried them with 22.9 points per game, while Courtney Williams kept the ball moving at 6.2 assists per game. However, even after a 34–10 run, they still fell to Phoenix in the semis. Wild season.
2. Sparks Found Fire Late
They had 85.7 points per game, even while adjusting to a new head coach in Lynne Roberts. Kelsey Plum led the team with 19.5 points per game and 5.7 assists, and Azurá Stevens owned the boards at 8.0 rebounds per game.

They finished 21–23, just outside the playoff line, but the offense never stopped swinging.
3. Indiana Just Wouldn’t Break
It's hard to believe Indiana were missing some of their biggest stars this season. Even without Caitlin Clark, they managed 84.9 points per game. That let them fight all the way to a five-game semifinal battle with Vegas.
Despite losing in the playoffs, Kelsey Mitchell dropped 20.2 points per game, Aliyah Boston pulled in 8.2 rebounds, and Clark dished 8.8 assists before going down.
4. Atlanta Kept It Fast and Fearless
The Atlanta Dream were close behind the Indiana Fever with 84.4 points per game and cracked the playoffs as the No. 3 seed.

Allisha Gray led the charge at 18.4 points per game, Brionna Jones controlled the paint with 7.3 rebounds, and Jordin Canada ran the floor at 5.7 assists. Indiana knocked them out, but Atlanta made noise every night.
5. New York Stayed in the Spotlight
Big crowds, big games, big energy, the Liberty kept the scoring humming at 84.4 points per game. Breanna Stewart powered the offense at 18.3 ppg, Jonquel Jones ruled the boards with 8.1 rpg, and Sabrina Ionescu handed out 5.7 assists like it was nothing. With 16,323 fans a night, New York felt like the WNBA’s main stage all season.
