With Madison Booker on their side, the Texas Longhorns can dream of a title anyway. But Booker knows what was more needed than any trophy.

For the 2^nd consecutive year, the Longhorns have advanced to the Final 4 and will take on the UCLA Bruins on April 4. But while anyone would pass a comment on the title win, Booker had things to say about the conference itself.

“Even though I played Big 12 for one year, I think SEC is the hardest conference”, she said via reporter Dana Scott. “It really helps you go into the season… Because that physicality and speed are something that everybody doesn't really have, actually. It’s just the SEC.”

Having played in the Big 12 before, Booker can tell that “You play so many tough teams” in the SEC. “It definitely helps”, because this much-needed toughness guides the Longhorns to evaluate their standing and level up their games.

And Booker knows that Texas has “already been tested”; what's next is “to really just finish the rest out.” And as said before, with Booker on the roster, the Head Coach can be at ease.

Vic Schaefer Claims Madison Booker Is Unstoppable

Averaging 19.3 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 3.8 assists this season, Booker is the Longhorns’ cornerstone. She’s the “big guard that can pretty much get her shot off at any given time” for Dawn Staley. But the Texas coach’s claim is bigger.

“I don’t care if a post player switches off of you or not. Go at them and finish them off at the rim. They can’t do anything with you anyway”, Schaefer said to Booker, per Sports Illustrated. And he knows, Booker has no “bad shots.”

“I’ve seen them all go in,” he added. “I’ve seen some of the toughest shots you can take go in. Some people might think, ‘Oh man, that might be a tough shot’… Madison can make them all.”
