While Rickea Jackson’s elite defense didn’t work in front of Anthony Davis and Jordan Chiles’ master plan, fans couldn’t help but worry.

Davis’s injury basket cut him some slack from the NBA that he used on his TV show, Foul Play. And this time around, the target of his hilarious prank was Jackson, while Chiles enjoyed the show as a spectator.

“AD and Jordan Chiles are wrong for this”, Bleacher Report took it to Instagram on April 8, posting the video in 3 clips. Which is basically about Jackson’s car being stuck at the gate without a ticket, and her driver getting angrier with every minute passing.

It was all part of Davis and Chiles’ set-up. Be it the security guard who purposely dropped the gate, asking for a ticket to allow the car to pass, or a man maxing out everyone’s irritation by honking. But this wasn’t even the best part.

While Jackson and her driver continued arguing with the Security personnel, an old lady passed by the car. The gate went up to let her out. And seeing this, Jackson’s driver surged towards the gate, kicking it down, breaking it.

While Chiles and AD couldn’t hold back their laughter, a stunned Jackson only sat in the car, processing the whole thing. And the fans took over the comment section.

Fans Had a Mixed Reaction to the Prank

This has been one of the worst off-seasons the 25-year-old has witnessed. If injury setbacks weren’t bad enough, legal troubles and a subsequent departure from the Unrivaled league followed. And fans pointed that out.

“Rickea has been through enough”, wrote a fan. Echoing the same sentiment, another added, “That's what I'm saying. Worst off-season ever for her.” “Literally my FIRST thought”, wrote another user.

Although it was a harmless prank and funny to some extent, some fans pointed out that it probably wasn’t the right one. Not after the issue with Jackson’s ex-boyfriend, Atlanta Falcons rookie James Pearce Jr.

“Given everything with James Pearce, I kinda feel bad pranking her with something car-related”, wrote a fan. Another agreed, “This. I giggled at first, and then my brain caught up.” “I’m truly hoping this was filmed before all that came out”, another wrote.

However, some fans found it genuinely funny. They even highlighted some specific moments from the whole prank, quoting those moments in the comments. They didn’t forget to credit Chiles and AD, though.

“This old lady just drove by like 'coming thruuu’ LMAOOO”, wrote one. Another added, “This show looks hilarious.” “AD and JC..  Y'all Wrong for that!! She Bruce Lee's the Hell out the Gate!!! Classic!!!”, wrote another fan.
