Emma Raducanu didn't even require words to dispel the rumors about her that had been flying around for some time.

In the past few weeks, multiple reports suggested that Raducanu was about to end her endorsement deal with Nike to enter a new partnership with the Japanese sportswear brand, Uniqlo.

However, a couple of days ago, the British tennis star was spotted sharpening her skills in Perth ahead of the Australian Open in Nike apparel, which indicated that the rumors were unfounded.

According to Tennis365, the validity of her Nike deal was supposed to end with the conclusion of 2025. But while 2026 has already begun, fans are yet to have an official confirmation about her deal with Uniqlo.

Hence, a Uniqlo deal may not be on the cards for Raducanu, at least for the next few months.

But this is far from being the only speculation that the 23-year-old put to rest during her training session at Perth.

And Emma Raducanu is already off to a solid start

Raducanu picked up a gruesome foot injury in September 2024 while competing in the quarterfinals of the Korea Open. The British native sprained multiple ligaments in her foot, which sidelined her for the rest of the season.

Despite returning in January 2025, a few rumors suggested that she had hurt her foot once again, which could lead to a delay in the start of her 2026 campaign.

"I just think, despite any challenges I have been facing with the foot or the health at the end of the season, I feel in a good place, and I’m building back in the gym, to start with. And I’m feeling pretty relaxed ahead of next year, which is a good place to be."

While Raducanu was primarily training for the upcoming edition of the United Cup, which begins on January 2, her efforts can also boost her performance in the first major tournament of 2026, the Australian Open.
