Besides tennis, Coco Gauff also enjoys watching web series, and her obsession with one of them propelled her to send out a surprising invitation.
Lately, Gauff has been fangirling over the HBO Max series 'Heated Rivalry'. Taking her admiration a step further, the 21-year-old sent an open invitation to the show's lead actors, Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams.
An X update from Buzzing Pop displayed Gauff's invitational words. She penned, "Hey, Connor [Storrie] and Hudson [Williams], my name is Coco. I am tennis’ number one ‘Heated Rivalry’ fan. Please come to my match and watch me play... Love you guys."

Besides loving the show herself, Gauff is also trying to get Jessica Pegula and Giuliana Olmos to watch it. She has openly praised the storyline on social media and even made a TikTok video of her reaction to the series.
Speaking to tennis.com during her pre-Australian Open press conference, Gauff explained how she discovered the series. "I just kind of saw people talking about a hockey show, a g** hockey show. That interested me."
Since the series was just "six episodes" long, Gauff dove right in. "It’s such a beautiful love story. I think that was like the main thing," she mentioned as her final verdict about it.
But while Gauff's love for Heated Rivalry knows no bounds, she doesn't let that take a toll on her performances on the court.
Coco Gauff Began Her Australian Open Campaign in Flying Colors
Gauff invited the Heated Rivalry stars, Conor and Hudson, to her match a day ago, which displays that she is currently obsessed with the show.
However, the WTA No. 3 didn't let its effects show in her performance on the court. Gauff started her Australian Open campaign strongly, with a 6-2, 6-3, straight-set victory over Uzbekistan's Kamilla Rakhimova in the Rod Laver Arena.
Following her victory, Gauff said, "I have lost in first rounds before, and I’ve always been able to pick it up. So, I try not to put so much pressure on myself in the first rounds."
Heated Rivalry is set up for a season 2 extension, while Gauff comfortably entered round 2 in Melbourne. Do you think she will spot the lead stars of her favorite show in the audience soon?
