Chicago Sky's Angel Reese Has Perfect Response to Boyfriend's Drip Post

Feb 1, 2026, 11:30 AM CUT

With Angel Reese skipping the 2026 Unurivaled season, her only focus is to enjoy the offseason. So it's no surprise that when boyfriend Wendell Carter Jr. posted on social media, she commented almost immediately.

After winning two back-to-back games with the Magic, Carter Jr. made an Instagram dump after a social media gap since January 9. The NBA star dropped a series of pics captioned "how is it going." The first one recycled that bold high-fashion streetwear look from the NBA Global Games in London.

The lead pic is the same one Reese hyped on her story during the NBA London Game 2026, where the Magic faced the Grizzlies on January 18, with "5lytist." A sneaky nod to her #5 jersey.

However, Reese seemed glad that Carter Jr. ultimately posted the images. "Finally posted," Reese chimed in in the comments, and in a second comment added "mhm."

Both Angel and Carter have actually elevated their style game. Even on January 30, Angel Reese's look turned heads.

Angel Reese Stole the Spotlight During Magic vs. Raptors

Angel Reese lit up the stands at his Orlando Magic game against the Raptors on January 30. Reese rolled up to the Amway Center, turning heads as Carter put in a standout performance.

Carter Jr. notched 23 points, 7 boards, and 3 dimes in Magic's hard-fought 130-120 win against the Raptors. Meanwhile, she cheered on, rocking a beige dress under a tailored coat with Louis Vuitton heels, showcasing her off-court elegance.

And this is far from the only time Angel Reese has hyped up her boyfriend from the sidelines.

During her trip from Germany to England, the Chicago Sky star attended Magic vs. Grizzlies in London on January 18. She appeared courtside with Angel Webb and her brother, Julian Reese, to cheer Wendell on at the O2 Arena. She was in a grey tweed blazer, shorts, sheer tights, heels, a beret, and a Chanel bag.

However, as the offseason rolls on, Reese's return to the paint gets closer. While the new CBA is yet to be decided, the WNBA has announced its 2026 season will start on May 8, and the Chicago Sky is set take on the Portland Fire on May 9.
