Even with a full slate of NBA and NFL games lined up this Christmas, Caitlin Clark’s sneakers took the spotlight.
Clark's Nike commercial showing off her new footwear was the talk of the town, and Indiana Fever’s general manager Amber Cox joined in.
As Nike dropped the ad on social media, it went viral almost immediately. Reactions poured in from fans all across, but Amber Cox’s summed up what everyone was thinking.
“🔥 Hooper AND actor! Well done, CC,” she tweeted.
This reaction was valid, and Clark looked comfortable and confident in front of the camera, perfectly blending her hooping and acting skills.
Set outdoors, the scene shifts to her moving farther back when shooting as familiar voices of the Kelce brothers, Jason and Travis, Michael Che, Travis Scott, and former Iowa Coach Lisa Bluder challenge and support her.
The ad is titled ‘From Anywhere’, which is Clark's answer to being asked if she can make shots from impossible distances. Her nonchalance backed up with elite hooping skills and the signature shoes is what ties the ad together.
The video ends with the Nike logo alongside Clark’s Double C logo, a hint that this is just the beginning of many more collabs to come.
But this isn't Caitlin Clark's first rodeo with Nike
The 23-year-old has been associated with Nike since her college days via NIL deals. She only went on to strengthen this partnership after going pro in 2024 with an 8-year deal of $28 million.
Following the release in 2026, Caitlin Clark will join Sabrina Ionescu and A’ja Wilson to be the 3rd active WNBA player with a signature Nike shoe line.
As CBA and free agency loom, Cox’s 6-word reaction says plenty as the Indiana Fever have Caitlin Clark under her rookie contract for the 2026 season.
Fans will just have to wait and see the No. 22 jersey return to court sporting new footgear while carrying her signature shooting touch.
