Caitlin Clark’s Night Out With Connor McCaffery Turns Heads at Indiana Showdown

Caitlin Clark may have attended NFL games and played in Pro-Ams during the offseason, but ever since appearing on NBC’s broadcast, she maintained a relatively low profile. However, that changed recently.
Ahead of Valentine’s Day, the Fever No. 22 planned a basketball watch date with her boyfriend, Connor McCaffery. As the 2025–26 high school basketball season nears its end, top matchups are happening all across Indiana. So the couple kept things low-key and showed up to one of them.
They were in attendance as Pike hosted Mt. Vernon in a Top 10 showdown in Indianapolis. Well, it was a fitting choice since CC and her college sweetheart came out to watch two of the best teams in the Hoosier State compete.
And, the game delivered. The Red Devils defended their home court and secured an 84–81 overtime win. But, the day didn’t just end there. The couple also left a sign showcasing that Clark had fully embraced Indiana. That too, with her love.
But, it’s understandable since Connor previously worked as an assistant coach with the Indiana Pacers. So the connection runs deep. But, the bond isn’t just limited till here.
It all Feels Nostalgic for Caitlin Clark.
In 2024, during a panel appearance at the LPGA Women’s Leadership Summit, CC spoke about how much attending sporting events meant to her growing up.
“Many years ago, I was begging my dad or my mom to take me to whatever sporting event it was. And I was screaming that I wanted to meet the players... because it was so impactful. I wanted to be who they were,” Clark said.
That perspective makes moments like this feel full circle. Before she became a national star, CC starred at Dowling Catholic High School in West Des Moines, Iowa.
She played four years of varsity basketball under coach Kristin Meyer. From the moment she stepped onto the court as a freshman, she dominated at a level few high school players ever reach.
So watching the next generation compete likely feels nostalgic. Once upon a time, she was the one putting on a show in a high school gym.
