Even with Caitlin Clark missing 31 games, the Indiana Fever stayed in the spotlight all year. They pushed through injuries and lineup changes, and even made it to the playoffs before bowing out.

Now in the off-season, they’ve cracked a major list that shows their rise as a WNBA franchise.

The Indiana Fever Makes a Forbes List

According to Forbes Most Valuable Women’s Sports Teams 2025, the Indiana Fever is the second most valuable franchise in women's sports, behind the New York Liberty, who are valued at $400 million.

While all 13 WNBA teams made it to the Forbes list, the Indiana Fever had a spot at number 2 on $370 million, outranking 11 teams from the league, including title winners Las Vegas Aces ($310 million).

Owner Herb Simon's franchise was able to generate $32 million in revenue with Caitlin Clark only playing 13 games this season.

In the longest WNBA season of 44 games, the Indiana Fever still garnered the largest attendance. According to Across The Timeline, Fever led the league in total attendance with 700,000 fans approx in home and road games combined.

Their attendance was 100,000 more than any other team, with many road games shifted to larger arenas to accommodate Caitlin Clark fans.

Caitlin Clark and her team pulled in numbers no other team could. The season opener with the Chicago Sky got more viewers than the New York Mets-New York Yankees rivalry ($2.53 million), averaging 2.7 million viewers on ABC.

But there is more to the Indiana Fever's boom than Caitlin Clark. The team secured a place in the playoffs and won the Commissioner’s Cup in 2025 without No. 22.

Players like Kelsey Mitchell and Aliyah Boston heavily contributed to the Indiana Fever’s 24-20 record, averaging 20.2 points and 15.0 points per game, respectively.

Caitlin Clark, healthy and recovering from her groin injury, was last seen at Team USA’s training camp in North Carolina. She is all set to return with the Indiana Fever for the next season with her rookie contract still on.
