Everyone's got that one idol who lights a fire under them.

For Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark, it's been the one and only LeBron James, the GOAT himself. She's been super vocal about it forever, saying "he's exactly what we need". That Iowa kid turned WNBA Star has shouted out King James time and again, from podcasts to postgame chats. 

And yesterday, fresh off the Lakers' win over the Hawks, LeBron dropped a fire Instagram post that had everyone buzzing. 

James balled out with 31 points, nine boards, and 10 assists. Which basically is  a triple-double tease. But Caitlin didn't have to say a word. Just straight-up reposted it on her IG Story. 

LeBron captioned his pics as,  "No matter if you LOVE or HATE me, you will REMEMBER me ." and added a crown emjoi to it. 

Straight facts from a 41-year-old legend who's heard all the noise but still owns the spotlight. But this ain't CC and james first interaction together. Their back-and-forth vibes go way stronger.

As recently Caitlin Clark's even topped NBA icons in the trading card world. Per the PSA her cards are grading was more popular than Stephen Curry's or LeBron's own slabs. Infact smashing U.S. scales on that 1-10 condition score. 

Well Caitlin is the face of women's hoops now, pulling WNBA viewership through the roof. Yet, amid all that hype, Clark keeps it real when it comes to LeBron's being her ultimate hero.

Last year, the most awaited link up happened . When they finallymet up backstage. Clark admitted she got straight starstruck, telling Heavy Sports' Alder Almo, "LeBron is the GOAT to me. That was a crazy moment."

But not just CC, but Bron's been hyping her too. Posting fire emojis on her rookie highlights and praising her long-range game on X. He's called her the future, even shading critics who slept on her draft spot. 

Clark fired back in interviews, saying LeBron's work ethic and clutch gene are what she chases. They've swapped shoutouts at All-Star events, with LeBron gifting her Lakers gear. 

Thus it's not just respect but it's mentorship vibes, bridging NBA and WNBA eras.

So, Clark reposting LeBron's legacy flex shows she's locked in on the kings who paved her path. As she keeps stacking records and cards, expect more of these cross-league nods. With the outstanding performances, LeBron might be nearing the Hall, but Caitlin's making sure his shadow looms large, for her and the next gen.
