Caitlin Clark Shows Up for Former Teammate When It Matters Most

Caitlin Clark was teammates with Gabbie Marshall when the duo played for the Iowa Hawkeyes. Although Clark has gone on to become a massive star in the WNBA, she still showed up her former teammate when it mattered.
On Christmas Day, Gabbie Marshall's partner Spencer Touro took to social media to post devastating news of thier dog Siloh's passing.
"We can’t gather the right words to say right now, but we wanted to post something for the HUNDREDS of people who loved Shy," Touro posted on Instagram.
"Yesterday Shiloh passed away in a tragic accident. We all are fine and nobody is hurt," added Touro, and Caitlin Clark left a comment.
"Love you, guys," the Indiana Fever star commented to comfort the grieving couple. And it's no wonder Clark was among Gabbie Marshall's Iowa teammates who commented, as she herself faced a similar tragedy earlier this year.
Caitlin Clark's words for Puppy
Just a few weeks ago, her dog Bella passed away, so it's safe to say that Clark can relate to the grief. "We are gonna miss you, Puppy. Gave us so many good memories," Caitlin Clark posted.
"Not much changed in 9 years," added to her late November Instagram story. However, this was far from the only thing that revealed just how much CC loved Bella.
Clark even customized one of her Nike Kobe PE designs with an image of Bella on the inside of the sole. On June 14, Clark put on a display while wearing a special version known as "The Bellas" against the New York Liberty. After the game, she explained the design.
"My dog is really important to me. It's my childhood dog that I grew up with, so the shoe is basically all golden," explained Caitlin Clark, as Bella was a Golden Retriever.
Maybe that's why the Indiana Fever star made sure to let her former teammate and her partner know that she was among those hundreds of people who loved Siloh, and now stands with them in their difficult time.
