Caitlin Clark Reveals Plans for Next WNBA Season

The Star's season came crashing down, and now the latest update is giving fans hope.
With injuries limiting her to 13 games, Caitlin Clark had a rough WNBA season. But the Fever star isn't backing down heading into her third year.
The Indiana Fever posted a throwback photo on Wednesday night of Clark signing autographs for fans during a game against the Dallas Wings. They captioned it "and this is why."
Clark reposted it on her story with a clear nine-word hint: "time to get back to lot of this." Fans lit up, seeing it as her signal that she's hungry for the court again after missing the playoffs push.

Clark recently went for USA Basketball's training camp in December, eyeing FIBA World Cup qualifiers in March. She's locked in for all Team USA events despite the Fever sitting out until May.
Even with a short season, Clark managed to average 16.5 points and 5.0 rebounds. She also made a career-high 8.8 assists per game before getting sidelined in July.
With those numbers and the FIBA Training camp exposure, one can only assume how sharp she will be before she returns fully healthy for Indiana in the next season.
Meanwhile, she has also stayed busy in basketball off the court. Recently, she joined NBC Sports as a special contributor for Basketball Night in America.
She's already debuted, breaking down games and talking about the ongoing CBA drama.
Caitlin Clark's Take on CBA Talks
Caitlin Clark sounded quite positive on the WNBA's CBA negotiations during her NBC broadcast. She played HORSE with Jamal Crawford and dove into the league's standoff.
With a key players' union-league meeting set for Monday after weeks of stalls, Clark called it huge: "Honestly, I don't think it's just a big moment for the WNBA. I think all of women's sports, this is one of the biggest moments we've ever had."
She credited the on-court product for driving it all. "We're in this moment because of the product we put on the floor. So we need to continue to be able to do that," Clark said.
She sounded quite positive despite the struggles, like two new teams coming up in 2026 And also free agency, and a full draft. But still she predicted a quick resolution to it. She added, "I truly do believe we're gonna get something done here in the next couple weeks."
Not much has shifted since her comments from Sunday night. The union pushed for face-to-face after ignoring proposals, but nothing came out of it. Players who went for it have chosen not to speak about it. Only some non-monetary goals of the list have been finalised.
Clark, fresh off an injury-filled year, wants normalcy, especially with the Fever semis potential last fall without her. She's all in, blending media gigs with USA hoops to stay sharp. Expect her third season to spark, CBA or not.
